Okinawa Update
The life, times, and explorations of a girl who has fallen head over heels in love with the island.... I quit my job, moved to Japan, and became a student of life. Life is a beach when you're surrounded by water!

About Me

- Location: Okinawa, Japan
I am adventureous when it comes to everything except food that looks back at me, fat, gristle, and anything easily identifiable as an animal part(such as the favorite here on Okinawa - pig's feet). I am pro-carb and I love to eat, which means that in order to stay in shape (and I don't mean the shape of a circle!), I have to dedicate an hour a day 5 to 6 times a week to working out. No, I don't love working out - but I do love how it makes me feel when I'm done (and that I don't feel nearly as guilty when I'm chowing down my favorite carbs)! I absolutely crave tropical warm weather (which works out quite well, since I'm now living on a sub-tropical island) and avoid cold weather like the plague. That's not completely true... I will make an exception every now and then in order to go snowboarding. I have been lucky enough to travel around the world and have seen so many amazing places! In order to keep my "world traveler" status active I will continue traveling until the day my feet fall off (then I'll just convince someone who is strong and patient with a good sense of direction to carry me around the world)!

Christine!! This is Kelli, Wendy's friend and if you don't remember me then please lie to me because I love you and read all your silly blogs and laugh out loud like we are old friends!
This picture you have posted looks just like the beach where I live in Hawaii! In fact, I am going to take a picture of my beach and send it to you for amusement, amazement and maybe even slight embarassment (I can't image why, but it flowed nicely).
Life in Hawaii has settled into Paradise. It only took 3 years to really like it. I guess quitting my real office job and teaching scuba diving every day had a lot to do with it, too. Go figure!
Anxiously waiting to read your next blog, say woof to Sedona and Wow! your hubby is a hottie!
